Asus and A-Data has introduced a new range of USB 3.0 interface portable storage products in a recently held seminar. The new combo drives, named N001 & N002, are a dual interface hard disk with both SATA II & eSATA and USB 3.0 interface. These drives are capable of transferring over 170MB/sec to over 200MB/sec of data in either of the interfaces.
ASUS was one of the first companies in the world to introduce USB 3.0 interface and ever since then, there has been over a dozen OEMs partnering with ASUS for introducing this latest technology.
In the seminar A-Data CEO Simon Chen said: “ASUS’s commitment to grade-A product quality and enriching consumers’ digital life with function-rich products match perfectly with A-DATA’s. We work closely with our supply chain, both upstream and downstream, to make sure our products meet customers’ expectation. And we fully understand our products must satisfy the crave for space and speed.”
No word on the prices have been given by either of the companies yet.
